Pandemic Didn’t Slow Down Education or Accreditation Opportunities

February 3, 2021

Whether you’re a business owner, cleaning professional, or facility services worker, no doubt the pandemic has caused you to change your protocols and regular routines. From enacting additional safety measures to increasing cleaning frequencies, the industry has stepped up to the challenges of the pandemic.

ISSA has had to change its methods of delivering education and services, such as offering virtual courses through its Cleaning Management Institute (CMI) and virtual assessments for its Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS). Although the pandemic has caused many challenges, it also presented unique opportunities, such as the GBAC STAR™ program offered by the Global Biorisk Advisory Council™ (GBAC), a division of ISSA, a performance -based accreditation program for facilities.

Learn more about how ISSA has pivoted during the pandemic to meet the needs of the cleaning industry.
