Janitorial Company Donating Take-out Supplies to Restaurants and Bars

December 3, 2020

Brenco Cleaning Equipment and Janitorial Services in Fargo, North Dakota has been working closely with restaurants and bars to keep them clean and sanitized. The company’s owner noticed his clients struggling when the pandemic caused them to switch from offering in-house dining to online ordering and take-out. So he decided to help restaurants and bars doing take-out within a 200-mile radius by providing them with 200 plastic containers and 250 plastic utensils, KVRR-TV reports.

“It’s been hard on everybody. Nobody thought back in March, April, when we had our initial shutdown, we’d be doing it again. So obviously it affects our business, but it affects our clients’ business the most,” said Josh Green, owner of Brenco. “Restrictions are being placed on them, so we’re just trying to help as a local community member.”

One of the restaurants receiving the containers and utensils is Deaner’s Diner in West Fargo. Andrea Johnson, the restaurant manager, told KVRR that the diner has been doing more take-outs since March so the donations from Brenco are “very helpful.”

“It was absolutely amazing,” Johnson added. “Fargo’s a big community. West Fargo’s a small community. But everybody is helping each other out.”
