Let’s Talk about COVID-19 Surcharges

Running a cleaning business during a pandemic has resulted in extra work and supplies for many companies, from increases in cleaning frequencies and the use of disinfectants to additional personal protective equipment, such as masks, needed for workers. These changes have resulted in increased costs for many businesses.

One way to recoup these costs is to charge clients a COVID-19 surcharge. CMM’s latest poll is asking readers whether they have added, or plan to add, a coronavirus surcharge to their regular fees.
