Register for Next Week’s Hand Sanitizer Webinar

August 13, 2020

Over the course of the past two years, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has completely overhauled the regulatory system that governs the manufacture, marketing, and use of antiseptic hand rubs and washes and, most recently, its final rule on hand sanitizers that became effective this past April.

Make sure your business is up to date on all the latest FDA rules and regulations. Register now for ISSA’s Advocacy, “Hand Sanitizers and the FDA,” which takes place at 12:00 p.m. CT on August 19.

During the hour-long webinar, sponsored by NeuraLabel Printing Solutions, attendees will learn about permissible labeling and marketing claims, prohibited and allowable active ingredients, and the FDA’s temporary policy regarding the production of alcohol-based hand sanitizers.

In addition, featured speaker Rhonda Jones, CEO of Scientific & Regulatory Consultants Inc., will cover product registration and other legal prerequisites to the lawful manufacture and sale of hand sanitizers and other antiseptic washes. Jones will also detail what institutional and household consumers should look for in selecting appropriate hand sanitizers.
