Restrooms Top Facility Managers’ List of Problem Areas

One of the most important areas to demonstrate new cleaning regimens to the public as you reopen your facility will be your restrooms.

According to this year’s CMM In-House/Facility Management Benchmarking Survey, restrooms were the most problematic surface/area for facility managers—across all types of facilities— before the pandemic set in. Nearly 43% of respondents ranked restrooms their top concern, followed by carpeted surfaces (17%), multi-surface areas (15%), and hard floor surfaces (14%). Only 7% marked entryways/foyers at the top of their list.
