From Theory to Tangible Results: DEI in Action

While the idea of DEI might be popular, developing and implementing a DEI strategy takes serious thought.

DEI—which stands for diversity, equity, and inclusion—is a collective hot topic for many businesses. But just because it’s a popular notion doesn’t mean that a company will immediately and automatically know how to best develop and implement a DEI strategy.

On this edition of Straight Talk! Marcela Sztainberg, Essendant head of Human Resources, and Amie Kromis, Essity North America DEI director, discuss how DEI is handled at their own respective companies. This includes embracing the ideals of the ISSA Hygieia Network, which provides education, mentoring, networking, and support programs that help women succeed in the workplace.

To learn more about their individual approaches to DEI, watch or listen to the complete episode of Straight Talk! below.
