Proper Filter Care Proper routine maintenance will keep your backpack vacuum operating at peak performance. Check filters before and after each use to determine if they need to be emptied, cleaned, or replaced. Empty or change filters when they are half full. Clogged or dirty filters will reduce airflow and result in poor suction and/or over-heating. As the environment determines frequency of filter maintenance, keeping a filter maintenance log can help track your filter replacements. Some ProTeam filters are open-collared, making them easy to empty and reuse several times; though, they should be replaced once pores become clogged.
